World FoodTech Forum 2024: 예술과 푸드테크의 만남​

지난 11월 18일, 더 트리니티는 ‘World FoodTech Forum 2024’에서 개회 영상 및 비전 선포 아트 퍼포먼스와 예술 오찬을 기획하여 예술과 푸드테크의 특별한 교차점을 선보였습니다.
이번 월드푸드테크포럼은 전 세계 창발가들이 모여 인류의 긍정적 미래를 위한 먹는 문제 해결을 논하는 자리로,
한덕수 국무총리, 농어업농어촌특별위원회 장태평 위원장, 정황근 월드푸드테크포럼 조직위원회 위원장(전 농림축산식품부 장관) 등 정부와 기업, 학계의 주요 인사와 12국 주한대사들이 함께했습니다.
미래 푸드테크 산업의 전망과 한국이 세계 푸드테크 시장을 선도하겠다는 포부를 담아, 현대미술 아티스트 이완의 ‘Made in Korea – 소금’을 비롯한 작품과 퍼포먼스를 통해
예술과 기술, 지속 가능한 자원의 연결성을 조명하며 푸드테크 산업의 비전을 예술로 표현했습니다.
특히 맷돌 퍼포먼스에서는 약콩두유 제조 과정을 통해 푸드테크의 과거와 미래를 상징적으로 녹여내며, 한국의 정부, 기업 그리고 세계가 힘을 합쳐 푸드테크의 미래를 열어가는 희망찬 비전을 선사했습니다.

더하여, VIP 행사 테이블 위마다 전시되었던 이완 작가의 설치작품 “깨어난 사물 – 켈로그 콘푸레이크’는 AI 카메라와 로보틱스를 결합한 이 설치미술은 관람객과 상호작용하며,
기술적 혁신이 인간의 일상과 문명에 미친 변화를 상징적으로 표현합니다. 이완 작가는 이를 통해 푸드테크가 식품 생산과 소비를 넘어, 인간 문명의 미래를 다시 설계할 수 있는 핵심적 도구임을 역설합니다.
‘깨어난 사물 – 켈로그 콘푸레이크’는 예술과 기술, 그리고 지속 가능한 식품 시스템 사이의 강력한 연결고리를 제시하며,
이번 포럼에서 푸드테크와 인간 삶의 교차점에 대해 깊이 있는 논의를 촉진하는 중요한 역할을 수행했습니다.

더 트리니티는 이번 퍼포먼스를 통해 예술과 푸드테크의 융합이 만들어낼 새로운 가능성을 제시하며, 지속 가능한 미래를 향한 비전을 선보였습니다.
